Handmade jewelry

What is the gold filled?

What is gold filled:
Gold filled jewelry is a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal (such as brass). The layer of gold is 5-10times thicker than gold plated jewelry resulting in a very durable and long lasting product. Gold filled jewelry is tarnish resistant and a beautiful, affordable alternative to solid gold. With proper care, your gold filled jewelry should last for years.

Avoid Exposure:
Keep pearls away from perfumes, hairsprays, and other chemicals, as these can damage the surface. It’s best to put on pearls after applying makeup and perfume.

Avoid Chemicals: Keep gold-filled jewelry away from harsh chemicals, including perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and chlorine, as these can cause damage.

Wear with Care: Be mindful of how you wear your jewelry. Avoid wearing it during activities that may cause it to get knocked or scratched.
